Mary Elizabeth Winstead reportedly playing Hera Syndulla in Star Wars: Ahsoka

December 26, 2022 by EJ Moreno

As we board the hype train for Star Wars: Ahsoka, fan favourite acrtess Mary Elizabeth Winstead is now confirmed for the Ahsoka series, which has been rumored for quite some time, and will reportedly star as Twi’tek pilot and Rebel commander Hera Syndulla in a new report from Bespin Bulletin.

Syndulla was briefly spotted in a teaser at the Star Wars Celebration but the character and actor has yet to be officially confirmed. The latest tease for Star Wars: Ahsoka came from a recent sizzle reel of Disney+’s upcoming slate.

The character is originally from Star Wars: Rebels, which Dave Filoni created. The filmmaker is set to write and direct multiple episodes. Hera Syndulla is not the only Rebels character returning, as the Ahsoka series is looking to be a reunion of the animated series.
