Matilda Lutz and Guy Pearce join Travis Fimmel in sci-fi thriller Zone 414

January 23, 2020 by Gary Collinson

Deadline is reporting that Matilda Lutz (Revenge) and Guy Pearce (A Christmas Carol) have been cast alongside Travis Fimmel (Vikings) in Zone 414, a sci-fi thriller from first time feature director Andrew Baird and screenwriter Bryan Edward Hill.

The film takes place in the near future in Zone 414, a colony of humanoid robots, where a private investigator is hired by a business tycoon to find his missing daughter.

Teaming up with a highly-advanced and self-aware AI, they must navigate through the dangerous iron jungle and piece together the mystery, uncovering a crime that leads them to question the origins of Zone 414 and the true purpose behind the ‘City of Robots’.

Zone 414 is shooting now in Belfast.
