If there’s one downside to yesterday’s big Justice League movie announcement, it’s that we’re going to have to suffer through a few more months of incessant rumour and speculation as to who will fill the remaining slots in DC’s iconic superhero team. And sure enough, we’ve got our first rumour…
This one actually popped up – as a joke – back when Ben Affleck was first cast as The Dark Knight in Batman vs. Superman, but The Wrap is reporting that Affleck’s good buddy Matt Damon “is being sought” for the role of Aquaman (a part which other rumours suggest has already been filled by Jason Momoa). Is there any truth in this? Who knows, but hopefully Warner Bros. will waste little time in revealing the rest of its cast…
Batman vs. Superman and Justice League are both being directed by Zack Snyder, with Affleck joined by Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman and Ray Fisher as Cyborg.
