The new year is just around the corner and HBO’s streaming service Max has dropped a preview of the shows to come next year, including teases of The Batman spin-off The Penguin, True Detective: Night Country, the second season of Tokyo Vice and more. Check it out below…
Among the new series the preview promoted were Industry starring Game of Thrones‘ Kit Harrington, The Regime with Kate Winslet, The Sympathizer with Robert Downey Jr., Scott Ly and Sandra Oh and the comedy The Franchise which parodies big budget superhero films from DC and Marvel. The Penguin will take place shortly after the conclusion to The Batman and lead into its sequel with an eye for a Fall 2024 date.
Among the returning series are the second season of House of the Dragon, a new season of Curb Your Enthusiasm, Hacks, Tokyo Vice, The Sex Lives of College Girls and more. It even teases some of the studios 2025 slate, including the second season of The Last of Us and a new installment of the comedy anthology The White Lotus.
