Meet Kamohoali’i in the latest Nightmarchers trailer

February 10, 2018 by Andrew Newton

It’s time to meet another ancient Hawaiian god in a new video for the open world, post apocalyptic RPG shooter, Nightmarchers, as Wyrmbyte Studios introduce us to the Shark God, Kamohoali’i.  Those who assist Kamohoali’i will reap great rewards in their quest to defeat the Kamapua’a.  You can learn more about Kamohoali’i in the trailer below…

In Hawaiian mythology Kamohoali’i had the power to take on the form of any fish, although being the Shark God you can probably guess which form he preferred to take.  The Shark God is brother to many of the other island’s gods and legend says he tried to help his sister Pele when she tried to avoid her marriage to the Kamapua’a.  Kamohoali’i is also famed for guiding sailors lost at sea and it is said he guided the original inhabitants of Hawaii to their new island home.

Those brave enough to locate and rebuild the sacred temple of Kamohoali’i will meet this god and once they have proved their worthiness will be granted the ability to transform into a shark whenever they want.  This is an ability that will come in useful if you wish to attack an enemy from a less defended direction.

Nightmarchers is set in the post apocalyptic paradise of the Hawaiian island Oahu.  Players will need to use the ancient magic of the gods to defeat the corruption of Kamapua’a.  As players explore the island they will come across other factions and, in some cases, will be required to clear these particular factions off the island using the powers of the spirit world and good old fashioned guns.

Look out for more news on Nightmarchers coming soon.
