Ubisoft has finally revealed Rainbow Six Extraction (previously called Rainbow Six Quarantine) during the Ubisoft Forward presentation. The presentation began with a cinematic trailer following a rescue efforts of an operator and was followed by a PvE co-op gameplay trailer. Both of these trailers can be seen below…
The cinematic reveal trailer follows the rescue attempt of Rainbow Six operator Hibana who has been captured by the mysterious alien entity known as Archæan. Rainbow Six now works for an organisation called REACT and three members, Ela, Lion and Nomad set out on a mission against the odds to rescue her before she’s consumed. Using their skills, weapons, teamwork and a pinch of technical intel, will the three succeed in their mission? Watch the trailer below to find out.
In the Deep Dive gameplay reveal trailer, we are treated to a glimpse at the PvE co-op experience that will allow players to team up with up to 2 friends. Players will be able to choose from a roster of 18 Rainbow Six Operators (with only a few revealed at present) with each having their own set of abilities, weapons and technical gadgetry. The further down the team goes in this Deep Dive, the greater the threats that will be faced.
Rainbow Six Extraction will pit players against the team’s most dangerous enemy so far when it releases on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Playstation 4, Playstation 5, PC and Stadia on 16th September.
