Meet the hottest hero with new trailer for Capes

Daedalic Entertainment and developer Spitfire Interactive have released a new trailer highlighting another hero that will be available to recruit in their turn-based superhero tactics game Capes.  You can meet Ignis in the trailer below….

The latest hero to be revealed for Capes is the on-camera host and local music and culture personality Ignis.  Ignis is a cheerful and bubbly person whose personality is exactly the same when not in front of the camera.  This optimistic character doesn’t let her circumstances get her down and will always try to make the best of her situation, even if that is surrounded by the bad guys. Ignis lives by the motto “If you can’t smile when things are going bad, you’ll spend half your time frowning that you could have spent enjoying yourself.”

When on the battlefield, Ignis will burst into flames and use fire to deal damage to her enemies or control particular areas of combat.  She also works well with others by being able to add fire damage to their attacks.

Capes is an XCOM-inspired turn-based superhero strategy set in a dystopian world where the supervillains took over the city, formed The Company and banned the development of superpowers. Those who developed super abilities by accident were soon captured and never seen again. Amidst the fear and chaos of the city, the Capes was formed, a band of heroes determined to take back their homes and reveal the truth behind the horrific Enhancement program of The Company.

Capes arrives on PC and consoles on the 29th.
