Having already signed on to two upcoming films this week in the thriller Midnight in the Switchgrass and horror Till Death, actress Megan Fox has now added a third project to her slate in the space-based sci-fi thriller Aurora.
Set up at Arclight Films, the film will see Fox playing a female astronaut stationed in outer space who is monitoring solar storms that endanger Earth. However, she soon discovers shock waves from solar storms are bending time pushing her into an emotional and psychological struggle with her past and present.
Lazar Bodroza (A.I. Rising) is directing the film from a script by Pete Bridges, Toby Gibson and Stuart Willis (Restoration), while Jordan Gertner (Spring Breakers) and Toby Gibson (The LEGO Movie) are producing alongside Gary Hamilton of Arclight.
“Aurora is a beautiful action-packed visual feast set in space and Megan is perfectly cast to play a character battling demons from her past,” said Hamilton.
