Mena Suvari (American Beauty, American Pie) and Danielle Harris (Halloween, Hatchet franchises) have been cast in Anne, With Love, a psychological thriller from director George Henry Horton (Dreadspace).
Horton is directing from a script he’s co-written with actress Blaine Morris (Skins), who stars as Anne, a painter struggling with inner demons after being forced into a life of solitude when her husband leaves mysteriously.
Suvari will play Anne’s closest confidant Maya, who has a dark secret of her own, while Harris portrays Anne’s neighbor, who has several striking similarities in both her appearance and life. Both stars are also producing alongside Horton and Morris.
Along with Suvari, Harris and Morris, the cast for Anne, With Love includes Jaime Gallagher (Nightshade), Luke Barnett (Faith Based), Rocky Perez (Gotham), Anwar Wolf (High Maintenance), Leonard Amoia, Lucy Werner, and Hunter Brown.
Filming is now underway in Los Angeles ahead of a planned 2021 release.
