Warner Bros. Animation is set to bring a brand new animated Batman holiday special to Cartoon Network, with Merry Little Batman set to feature as part of a new family friendly programming block, ACME Night, which will air on Sundays beginning later this month.
Directed by Mike Roth, Merry Little Batman will follow a six-year old Damian Wayne as he dresses up as ‘Little Batman’ in order to save Christmas from a dastardly group of DC supervillains.
The programming block is also set to include the animated specials Did I Do That to the Holidays? A Steve Urkel Story and as-yet-untitled Looney Tunes cartoon, along with the previously announced Gremlins: Secrets of the Mogwai animated series. Also featured are a number of Warner Bros. feature films, including Shazam!, Man of Steel, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Sherlock Gnomes, Pokemon: Detective Pikachu and Scoob!.
The ACME Night programming block is set to launch on September 19th on Cartoon Network.
