Michael Ealy and director David M. Rosenthal sign on for Jacob’s Ladder reimagining

March 27, 2016 by Gary Collinson

Deadline is reporting that director David M. Rosenthal is set to reunite with his The Perfect Guy star Michael Ealy in a remake of the psychological horror Jacob’s Ladder.

Based on a script by Jeff Buhler and Sarah Thorp from a pitch by Jake Wade Wall (When A Stranger Calls), the reimagining is described as “a modern day paranoid action thriller about two brothers.”

The 1990 original was directed by Adrian Lyne and starred Tim Robbins as a Vietnam war veteran plagued by bizarre flashbacks and halucinations.
