Giacchino has previously scored both Spider-Man: Homecoming and Spider-Man: Far From Home, as well as 2016’s Doctor Strange, and is also returning for that film’s sequel, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. It’s not just Marvel on his upcoming slate either, as he’ll also be scoring Warner Bros. and DC Films’ The Batman starring Robert Pattinson.
The Untitled Spider-Man Sequel is set to reunite Tom Holland with director Jon Watts and his Homecoming and Far From Home co-stars Zendaya (MJ), Marisa Tomei (Aunt May), Jacob Batalon (Ned Leeds) and Tony Revolori (Flash Thompson), along with Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange and Jamie Foxx as Electro. It is slated for release on December 17th 2021.
