XYZ Films has released a poster and trailer for Waking Karma, the upcoming horror-thriller from directors Carlos Montaner and Liz Fania Werner.
The film follows teenager Karma and her mother, who have spent their lives evading Karma’s cult leader father until he tracks them down to a remote forest compound and forces them through a series of psychological trials that he believes will awaken an unholy inheritance living inside his daughter.
Featuring in the cast of Waking Karma are Michael Madsen, Hannah Christine Shelter, Kimberly Alexander, and Bradley Fisher. Check out the trailer below…
Karma and her mother have spent their lives evading Paul, her cult leader father (Michael Madsen). With Paul closing in as Karma reaches adulthood, she and her mother flee to a friend’s remote compound.
Paul tracks them there and traps them within its walls, putting Karma through a series of escalating tests designed to break her spirit and awaken an unholy inheritance that lives within her.
Waking Karma arrives on VOD on January 26th.
