The Tracking Board is reporting that Michelle Williams in in talks to join Benedict Cumberbatch and Jake Gyllenhaal in director Luca Guadagnino’s (Call Me By Your Name) new project Let It Fall Back, which has been scripted by Steven Knight (Peaky Blinders).
Let It Fall Back follows “a financial reporter (Gyllenhaal) who travels to Rio de Janeiro to visit a wealthy friend (Cumberbatch), only to get sucked into a plot to fake his friend’s death.” Details on Williams’ potential role are being kept under wraps.
Williams, who has been nominated for Oscars for Brokeback Mountain, Blue Valentine, My Week With Marilyn and Manchester by the Sea, is currently gearing up for reshoots on Ridley Scott’s All the Money in the World following the removal of Kevin Spacey from the project. She will also be seen this December alongside Hugh Jackman, Zac Efron and Zendaya in The Greatest Showman.
