Mike Myers is back playing multiple characters in teaser for Netflix comedy series The Pentaverate

March 16, 2022 by Matt Rodgers

The last time we saw Mike Myers he was unrecognisable under prosthetics in Bohemian Rhapsody, and now he’s the master-of-disguise once again in the first teaser for his star-studded Netflix comedy series The Pentaverate.

Not only will Myers mark his return to a starring role for the first time since 2008’s The Love Guru by playing the Canadian journalist who uncovers the titular secret society who have been controlling the world, but he’ll also show up as a conspiracy theorist, a far-right radio host, The Pentaverate’s oldest and highest-ranking member, a former media mogul, an ex-Russian oligarch, a former rock band manager, and the tech genius who invented the Pentaverate’s supercomputer.

Starring alongside him will be Ken Jeong (The Hangover), Keegan-Michael Key (The Predator), Debi Mazar (Entourage), Richard McCabe (Wallander), Lydia West (Years & Years), and Jennifer Saunders (Death on the Nile); check out the teaser below…

What if a secret society of five men has been working to influence world events for the greater good since the Black Plague of 1347? As this new series begins, one unlikely Canadian journalist finds himself embroiled in a mission to uncover the truth and just possibly save the world himself. Remember, the Pentaverate must never be exposed!

The Pentaverate streams on Netflix from May 5th, 2022.
