Bandai Namco Europe has released a new trailer for the upcoming Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Battle Destiny Remastered showcasing more details about the gameplay and enhanced features, while it’s also been announced that pre-orders are now available for the Nintendo Switch version. Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Battle Destiny Remastered will allow players to become a pilot in the world of Mobile Suit Gundam SEED and take control of their own Mobile Suit. Players will be able to choose what faction to fight for and also whether they play as a Natural (a human born without genetic modifications) or as a Coordinator (a genetically modified human). The faction chosen will determine what Mobile Suits, missions and storyline they will be able to complete.
Players will be able to choose their main and secondary weapons for their Mobile Suit with a selection of ranged and melee weapons, and upgrade them using the points gained after completing a mission. These selections will enable players to adapt their strategy to their preferred playstyle.
In addition to the Story Missions, players will also be able to take part in:
- Extra Missions – Features no faction or period restrictions. Players will be able to choose to team up with their favourite characters with the unit of their choosing.
- VS Missions – Players are able to compete against computer controlled enemies through a number of different scenarios.
Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Battle Destiny Remastered will launch on 22nd May on Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam.
