With Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice just around the corner, stars from previous Batman outings are being asked about their thoughts on the film. During interviews with Entertainment Tonight, both Christian Bale and Morgan Freeman gave their two cents, with Freeman taking a more negative view than Bale.
“You know, I’m happy for Ben, but I don’t know how that’s gonna work,” Freeman said. “Because The Dark Knight was almost ‘it.’ Pretty much ‘it’. Did you see Batman Begins? I don’t think you can beat that.”
Christian Bale was more supportive of Affleck stating, “Everyone brings their own element to that — Ben will do that as well. I think the trailers are looking great and I’m looking forward to that. But right on for Morgan for saying no one will ever be that, I very much like him.”
When asked who is favourite Batman was, Bale said, “It depends on who you talk with. You can’t be Adam West, it just depends what you’re in the mood for. I love watching Adam West.”
