Natalie Portman has certainly been stacking up the projects lately. Following on from the news this month that the Oscar-winner has joined Annihilation and On the Basis of Sex, it’s now being reported that she’s set to take on the role of Jackie Kennedy.
Portman will star in Jackie, a drama that follows the First Lady in the four days after the assassination of John F. Kennedy in Dallas in 1963, and her efforts to deal with the loss of her husband as a nation rallies around her.
Jackie had originally been in development under Darren Aronofsky back in 2010 with his then-partner Rachel Weisz attached to star, and will remain involved as producer with Pablo Larrain (No) directing.
