Deadline is reporting that Natalie portman has signed on to produce and star in the HBO miniseries We Are All Completely Beside Ourselves, which is being developed by Marta Kauffman (Grace and Frankie) and her Okay Goodnight production banner.
Adapted from Karen Joy Fowler’s novel, the miniseries is described as “a twisty tale centered on university student Rosemary Cooke (Portman), whose complex and unusual upbringing is marred by the unexpected disappearance of a ‘twin sister’ at the age of 5.”
Portman has a number of feature film projects on the horizon, including The Heydey of the Insensitive Bastards, Planetarium, Jackie, The Death and Life of John F. Donovan and Annihilation. Her directorial debut A Tale of Love and Darkness opens in the States later this month.
