Having swooped in to rescue the show with a sixth season order back in May following its cancellation by Fox, NBC has now announced that it has ordered an additional 5 episodes of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, bringing the sixth season episode count up to 18.
Created by Michael Schur and Dan Goor, Brooklyn Nine-Nine revolves around the NYPD’s 99th precinct, and features a cast that includes Andy Samberg as Jake Peralta, Andre Baugher as Captain Raymond Holt, Stephanie Beatriz as Rosa Diaz, Terry Crews as Terry Jeffords, Melissa Fumero as Amy Santiago, Joe Lo Truglio as Charles Boyle, Chelsea Peretti as Gina Linetti, Dirk Blocker as Michael Hitchcock and Joel McKinnon Miller as Norm Scully.
As yet, there’s no word on an exact premiere date for season six of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, but we do know that NBC intends on launching the show midseason in the upcoming 2018-19 TV season.
