Indie developer Alawar has announced they will be releasing their undead creation simulator Necrosmith 2 on Steam on 27th March. This roguelike tower defence necromancer sim with its grotesque and horrific creatures will also be available to experience firsthand with a playable demo available during the Steam Next Fest. The Necromancer Tower awaits the return of one suitable to continue the creation of horrific and grotesque beings and in this sequel to the popular Necrosmith the tower comes improved with lots of add-ons and technomagic devices to help every would be mad necromancer.
Players will find that Necrosmith 2 provides a deeper amount of exploration with a much larger procedurally generated map. Players will be able to experience new biomes and islands, even take advantage of a day/night cycle to really spice up life…. death. The sequel even provides a brand-new opponent for players to throw their musty smelling armies at. To top everything off the game sees the return of the handy Cat companion.
Necrosmith 2 features:
- The ability to assemble armies from the parts of various fantasy races and unlock countless combinations of skills and attacks.
- Upgrade the Tower with a variety of add-ons and improvements for a unique look.
- A procedurally generated world filled with dozens of biomes from high mountains to squelchy swamps.
- A map view so players can examine their conquered domains.
- An attack of Titans. These gigantic new monsters will easily destroy the Tower if not stopped.
