Variety is reporting that Act of Valor and Need for Speed director Scott Waugh has signed on to helm the action thriller Blackout.
The project “follows a cop who’s tasked with transporting a mysterious and dangerous criminal across town. He’s put to the ultimate test when a city-wide blackout plunges them into chaos.”
Waugh is also rumoured to be attached to Inversion, a sci-fi where Earth mysteriously loses its gravity and chaos ensues.
