Netflix releases poster and trailer for dance comedy Step Sisters

January 4, 2018 by Amie Cranswick

With less than three weeks to go until Step Sisters arrives on Netflix, the streaming service has released a poster and trailer for the dance comedy. Directed by Charles Stone III, the film stars Megalyn Echikunwoke, Eden Sher, Gage Golightly, Marque Richardson, Naturi Naughton, and Matt McGorry; check them out here…

“Jamilah Bishop (Megalyn Echikunwoke) seems to excel at everything: She’s president of her sorority, captain of the step crew, liaison to the college dean and a star student who is on her way to to Harvard Law School. But when Jamilah is asked to teach a misbehaving, mostly white sorority how to step, success seems impossible. Without telling her own sorority sisters, Jamilah begins training rivals Sigma Beta Beta (SBB) for the “Steptacular” competitive dance competition.”

Step Sisters is set to arrive on Netflix on January 19th.
