Netflix releases trailer, poster and images for Come Sunday starring Chiwetel Ejiofor

Ahead of its arrival on Netflix next month, the streaming service has released a poster, trailer and batch of images for director Joshua Marston’s upcoming drama Come Sunday. Based on the true story of Pastor Carlton Pearson (played by Chiwetel Ejiofor), who was declared a heretic by his peers after publicly declaring that he doubted the existence of Hell. The film features a cast that also includes Martin Sheen, Jason Segel, Condola Rashad, Lakeith Stanfield, and Danny Glover; take a look below…

Internationally-renowned pastor Carlton Pearson — experiencing a crisis of faith — risks his church, family and future when he questions church doctrine and finds himself branded a modern-day heretic. Based on actual events.

Come Sunday is set to arrive on Netflix on April 13th.
