Coming a little over a month after its premiere on the streamer, Netflix has announced that it has renewed its bloody adult animated series Blue Eye Samurai for a second season.
Created by Michael Green (Logan) and Amber Noizumi, the series takes place in Edo-period Japan and follows a mixed race master of the sword who lives a life in disguise seeking the deliverance of revenge.

Blue Eye Samurai is streaming now on Netflix and features the voice talents of Maya Erskine (PEN15), George Takei (Star Trek), Masi Oka (Heroes), Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa (The Man in High Castle), Brenda Song (Dollface), Darren Barnet (Gran Turismo), Randall Park (WandaVision), Kenneth Branagh (Oppenheimer), Stephanie Hsu (Joy Ride), Ming-Na Wen (The Mandalorian), Harry Shum Jr. (Glee) and Mark Dacascos (John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum).
