Netflix has announced that it has renewed the Jason Bateman and Laura Linney series Ozark for a third season, which will consist of 10 episodes and is expected to hit the streaming service in 2019.
Ozark follows financial adviser Marty Byrde (Bateman) and wife Wendy (Linney) as they are forced to relocate their family from Chicago to a summer resort community in the Missouri Ozarks after a money laundering scheme goes wrong, putting Marty in debt to a Mexican drug cartel.
The critically acclaimed first season of Ozark saw Jason Bateman nominated for Emmy Awards for both acting and directing, while the second season debuted this past August, albeit to more modest reviews.
Both seasons one and two of Ozark are available now to stream on Netflix.
