Netflix shares Lady Chatterley’s Lover first-look featuring Emma Corrin and Jack O’Connell

October 4, 2022 by Amie Cranswick

Netflix has released eight images from Lady Chatterley’s Lover, the upcoming romantic drama based on D.H. Lawrence’s classic novel, which offer a first look at Emma Corrin as Lady Constance Chatterley and Jack O’Connell as the estate gamekeeper, and object of her desire, Oliver Mellors; take a look here…

Marrying Sir Clifford Chatterley, Connie’s life of wealth and privilege seems set as she takes the title of Lady Chatterley. Yet this idealistic union gradually becomes an incarceration when Clifford returns from the First World War with injuries that have left him unable to walk. When she meets and falls for Oliver Mellors, the gamekeeper on the Chatterley family estate, their secret trysts lead her to a sensual, sexual awakening. But as their affair becomes the subject of local gossip, Connie faces a life-altering decision: follow her heart or return to her husband and endure what Edwardian society expects of her.

Lady Chatterley’s Lover features a cast that includes Emma Corrin, Jack O’Connell, Joely Richardson, Matthew Duckett, Faye Marsay, and Ella Hunt. It is set for release in cinemas on November 25th, and arrives on Netflix on December 2nd.
