The upcoming third season of Gillian Jacobs (Community) and Paul Rust’s comedy drama Love will be its last.
The Hollywood Reporter announced that Netflix had decided to end the Judd Apatow produced series after its third run, which debuts on the streaming service from March 9th 2018.
“I am really excited about the third season of Love,” said Apatow, “I think it is our sweetest, funniest season and ends our story in a beautiful way.”
Apatow co-created the series with Girls collaborator Lesley Arfin and Rust.
Have Netflix cancelled this too early, or was its absence from your browsing menu an indication that the show never had much viewer traction? Let us know what you think.
“The series follows nice guy Gus (Paul Rust) and brazen wild-child Mickey (Gillian Jacobs) as they navigate the exhilarations and humiliations of intimacy, commitment, love and other things they were hoping to avoid. In the second season, Mickey and Gus face commitment and all that comes with it as they attempt to bring order to their chaotic lives.”
Love season 3 premieres on Netflix on March 9th.
