With the second season of One Piece, the live-action adaption of the manga/anime, the new characters joining the pirate adventures are beginning to be revealed.
The latest round of casting sees Katey Sagal (Sons of Anarchy) set to play Dr. Kureha, Mark Harelik (Presumed Innocent) playing Dr. Hiriluk, and Charithra Chandran (Bridgerton) joining Netflix’s hit series for its second outing.
Kureha is described as an ally of the Straw Hat Pirates. She is a doctor on Drum Island, where she heads the Isshi-100. As for Hiriluk, the character is a thief-turned-Drum Island doctor.
Chandran joins the series with Miss Wednesday, a beloved character who plays a vital role in the Arabasta Arc. She’s a key member of Baroque Works who hunts down the Straw Hats as they finally enter the Grand Line.
Sagal, Harelik, and Chandran all join the previously announced new cast members: Brendan Sean Murray as Brogy, Callum Kerr as Smoker, Camrus Johnson as Mr. 5, Clive Russell as Crocus, Daniel Lasker as Mr. 9, David Dastmalchian as Mr. 3, Jazzara Jaslyn as Miss Valentine, Julia Rehwald as Tashigi, Rob Colletti as Wapol, Ty Keogh as Dalton, and Werner Coetser as Dorry.

Returning will be Iñaki Godoy as Monkey D. Luffy, Mackenyu as Zoro, Emily Rudd as Nami, Jacob Romero as Usopp, Taz Skylar as Sanji, Ilia Isorelys Paulino as Alvida, Jeff Ward as Buggy, and Michael Dorman as Gold Roger.
There’s no set release date for One Piece Season 2 as yet, but the first season is available to stream now on Netflix.
