New Cooking Mama has been rated in Germany and Australia

August 7, 2019 by Liam Waddington

A brand-new Cooking Mama game could be heading to consoles soon, according to new listings on German and Australian rating sites.

The German USK currently has two listings for Cooking Mama: Cookstar, with one listing the game for Nintendo Switch and the other one for PlayStation 4. This is further backed up by an Australian rating board, with both sites claiming the publisher is Planet Entertainment and the developer is First Playable Productions.

However, the new publisher and developer is a surprise for those who usually play titles in the Cooking Mama franchise. These instalments were developed by Cooking Mama Limited and published by Taito in Japan, Majesco Entertainment in North America, and 505 Games in PAL regions.

The last Cooking Mama game to be released was Cooking Mama: Sweet Shop on Nintendo 3DS back in 2017.

Are you excited by a possible new instalment in the Cooking Mama series? Let us know in the comments below or tweet us @FMyth_Gaming…
