Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and NetherRealm Studios have released a new gameplay trailer for the Mortal Kombat 11 Kombat Pack, this trailer showcases the soul stealing sorcerer Shang Tsung, featuring the voice and likeness of actor Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa who played the character in the 1995 Mortal Kombat film.
Shang Tsung is the host of the Mortal Kombat Tournament and a sorcerer who uses his dark powers to steal the souls of his victims. Although he pledged his loyalty to Shao Kahn he really desires to usurp his power. The soul stealing sorcerer is the first of of six playable fighters included in the Kombat Pack.
Other characters coming with the pack include guest character Todd McFarlane’s Spawn, an ex government assassin who sold his soul in Hell for a second chance; and the classic Mortal Kombat combatants, Nightwolf, Matoka’s champion, and Sindel, former Queen of Edenia.
Also included in the pack are different character skin and gear sets for each DLC character, a bonus Johnny Cage Ninja Mime character skin and gear set, 18 bonus character skins and one week early access for the contents of the pack.
The Kombat Pack will be released over the coming months, beginning with Shang Tsung on 18th June. This pack is available to purchase now and also comes as part of the Mortal Kombat 11 Premium Edition.
