New trailer for The Day of the Jackal starring Eddie Redmayne and Lashana Lynch

Ahead of its premiere next month, Peacock has shared a new trailer, poster and images for the upcoming thriller series The Day of the Jackal.

Adapted from Frederick Forsyth’s 1971 classic novel of the same name, the series stars Eddie Redmayne as an elusive assassin who finally meets his match when a British intelligence officer (Lashana Lynch) tracks him across Europe.

Joining Redmayne and Lynch in the cast are Úrsula Corberó, Charles Dance, Richard Dormer, Chukwudi Iwuji, Lia Williams, Khalid Abdalla, Eleanor Matsuura, Jonjo O’Neill, Nick Blood, Sule Rimi, and Florisa Kamara. Watch the trailer below…

An unrivaled and highly elusive lone assassin, the Jackal, (Eddie Redmayne) makes his living carrying out hits for the highest fee. But following his latest kill, he meets his match in a tenacious British intelligence officer (Lashana Lynch) who starts to track down the Jackal in a thrilling cat-and-mouse chase across Europe, leaving destruction in its wake.

The Day of the Jackal premieres on Sky and November 7th in the UK, and on Peacock on November 14th in the US.
