New trailer for wrestling biopic Queen of the Ring starring Emily Bett Rickards

Ahead of the release of Queen of the Ring this March, a new trailer and a poster have arrived online for writer-director Ash Avildsen’s biographical sports drama which stars Emily Bett Rickards (Arrow) as Mildred Burke, the first million dollar female athlete in history and three time women’s wrestling champion; take a look here…

In a time when pro wrestling for women was illegal all over the country, a small town single mother embraces the danger to change culture as she dominates America’s most masculine sport to become the first million dollar female athlete in history.

The cast includes Emily Bett Rickards, Josh Lucas, Tyler Posey, Francesca Eastwood, Marie Avgeropolous, Deborah Ann Woll, Cara Buono, Adam Demos, Martin Kove, Kelli Berglund, Damaris Lewis, Kailey “Kamille” Latimer, Toni “ Toni Storm” Rossall, Gavin Casalegno, and Walton Goggins.

Queen of the Ring arrives in cinemas on March 7th.
