Siberia based developer Borisoft has announced that they will be releasing their VR block breaker game, VRetired, on Steam Early Access for HTC Vive and Oculus Rift on the 7th December. With neon visuals to whisk you back to the heady days of the 80s, VRetired will combine the classic fun of the Breakout/ Arkanoid games with modern day VR tech. As with the classic old block breaker games, VRetired will have players destroy bricks, collect bonuses and taking on level after level by becoming the bat. After each level players can view a stats page that includes a calorie counter so you can see what you’ve burnt off.

- Dynamic gameplay that will challenge not only dexterity but also will help warm ups.
- A Party mode to share the challenge with friends.
- Find out how many calories have been burned while playing with the game’s calorie counter.
- Go back to the 80s, to the age of arcades, sportscars and neon….lots of neon.
- A fresh look on the time tested mechanics from games such as Batty, Breakout, Arkanoid.
- A variety of bricks and levels.
