According to Deadline, Oscar winners Nicolas Cage (Leaving Las Vegas) and Faye Dunaway (Network) have signed on to star alongside Nicky Whelan (Matador) in Inconceivable, a new thriller from director Jonathan Baker and screenwriter Chloe King.
The film will see Whelan as Katie, a mother who moves to town with her young daughter in order to start a new life after enduring abuse in her past. She soon befriends another mother, Angela, and her husband Brian (Cage), and when Angela notices odd behaviour from Katie, she begins to question whether her entions are as innocent as she makes them out to be, or if something dark is lurking beneath the surface.
Production on Inconceivable is set to get underway next month, with Emmett/Furla/Oasis producing on behalf of Lionsgate.
