The notorious Hollywood Black List has produced some memorable movies over the years – Manchester by the Sea, Juno, Argo – and now Nicole Kidman has signed onto star in Holland, Michigan, the spec script which topped the list in 2013.
Bought by Amazon Studios back in 2016, Holland, Michigan is from Manhunt: Unabomber‘s Andrew Sodroski, and is described as a Hitchcock-ian style thriller with black humor, in which a Midwestern housewife suspects that her husband is having an affair. As she peels back the surface of her seemingly perfect life, she learns her husband might be leading a dark, secret life.

Deadline reports that Kidman will reteam with the studio with whom she earned an Academy Award nomination for her performance in Being the Ricardos, and that Mimi Cave, who wowed with her Sundance and Disney+ smash hit Fresh will direct the film.
