Game of Thrones veteran Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and Aisha Tyler (Fear The Walking Dead) are set to star alongside Jennifer Garner (Yes Day) and Angourie Rice (The Nice Guys) in Apple’s limited thriller series The Last Thing He Told Me.
The Last Thing He Told Me is based on the novel by Laura Dave and focuses on “Hannah (Garner), a woman who forms an unexpected relationship with her sixteen-year-old stepdaughter (Rice) while searching for the truth about why her husband, Owen (Coster-Waldau), has mysteriously disappeared.”
With Coster-Waldau playing Hannah’s missing husband, Deadline reports that Tyler will play Jules, Hannah’s best friend from childhood.
The series was created and adapted by Dave and her husband Josh Singer (Spotlight). Directing the series will be Olivia Newman (Where The Crawdads Sing).
Garner, Dave, Singer and Newman will executive produce with Reese Witherspoon and Lauren Neustadter under Witherspoon’s production company Hello Sunshine. Apple and 20th Century Fox will produce the series.
