Norman Reedus, one of the stars of The Walking Dead, has said that the show is going to be “epic” in the post-Rick era.
Andrew Lincoln and his character Rick Grimes are going to have a huge impact on The Walking Dead once they leave the show but what will the series look like without its main character?
Well, according to Norman Reedus, who plays Daryl on the show, a post-Rick TWD is going to be “epic”. Speaking to Deadline, the actor said:
“Let me say this, Andy’s been on set since he’s left but he’s like, you know, this show, it’s the best it’s ever been. He’s like I’m kind of bummed, it’s f— amazing right now, you know? And the truth is, it is. It got better. The band got tighter.
“Some bands are heavy on lead guitar and it’s just guitar solos forever and you know, the rest of the band isn’t getting the chance to play. Now, we got new singers. We got new guitarists and I really feel that the show’s the best it’s ever been.”
Well, fans will certainly be hoping that Reedus is accurate about his remarks. What do you think? Will The Walking Dead flourish after Rick?
