F.W. Murnau’s silent masterpiece Nosferatu is set for a remake, with Jeff Robinov’s Studio 8 tapping Robert Eggers (The Witch) signing on to write and direct a new verison of the horror classic.
Released in 1922, Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror was an unauthorised adaptation of Bram Stoker’s Dracula, with Max Schreck starring as the hideous Count Orlok. The film was previously remade in 1979, with Wener Herzog directing and Klaus Kinski starring in the lead role.
