NYCC: Marvel announces new Star Wars comic Star Wars: Kanan

During the San Diego Comic Con Marvel announced it was to produce three three Star Wars comic titles, and now during the Cup O’ Joe Panel at the New York Comic Con, a fourth title has been announced, which will centre on the Star Wars Rebels character of Kanan.

The ongoing series will get underway in April 2015 with an arc from Greg Weisman and Pepe Larraz entitled ‘The Last Padawan’, which will delve into Kanan’s backstory and how he escaped the Jedi Purge of Order 66. Here’s a first look at the cover to Star Wars: Kanan #1 from artist Mark Brooks…
