Oddworld: Collection available now on Nintendo Switch

Fans of the cute, yet challenging Oddworld series are now able to purchase the Oddworld: Collection for the Nintendo Switch from retailers.  This collection features the critically acclaimed Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty, Oddworld: Munch’s Oddysee and Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath all in one neat little package.  A new trailer can be seen below.

The Oddworld: Collection offers Switch players with three classic action-adventure games that can be played in the comfort of their homes or on the go, and each provides infectious gameplay, humour, and exciting storylines.

Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty is a remake of the classic puzzle-platforming adventure Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee in which Abe discovers a devious plan to turn his fellow Mudokons into meaty snacks.  Taking the role of Abe, players will need to escape from the insidious RuptureFarms facility and set about freeing his fellow Mudokons from slavery.

In Oddworld: Munch’s Oddysee players will switch between the characters of Abe and Munch in an adventure that will see them break out from an evil animal test lab.  Players will need to save the last remaining Gabbit eggs that are to be turned into Gabbiar as well as save fellow test creatures from extinction.  It’s also an opportunity to exact revenge on the evil scientists.

Finally, Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath puts players in the role of Stranger, a hunter who chases a variety of dangerous creatures in return for bounties.  Using a unique hybrid viewpoint where the player can switch between first and third person, players will need to use puzzles, accurate shooting and shear tenacity to capture or kill their quarries.  There’s lots of Easter eggs to discover in Stranger’s Wrath for those adventurous enough to go looking.

The Oddworld: Collection is available now at retailers and all titles are available to purchase individually from the Nintendo eShop.
