Online RTS Iron Conflict coming later this year

July 25, 2020 by Andrew Newton

Iron Conflict, a new online real-time competitive strategy game developed by Angela Game, will be making its way to Steam later this year.  Built using Unreal Engine 4, Iron Conflict will provide a new perspective of the RTS genre with stunning graphics, rich strategy gameplay and 10v10 online battles.  See the teaser below to see more.

Players will start by choosing three combat units to control, these range from infantry, tanks and planes with each having their own specific strengths and weaknesses. Players will then need to work alongside their teammates efficiently in order to ensure victory.  There’s a huge variety of WW2 planes and tanks as well as later war machines such as the Type 99 Tank and the F-35.

Featuring:

  • RTS combat with 3v3, 5v5, and 10v10 competitive matches.
  • Randomised maps for near endless play.
  • Scout units available to help find the enemy before they find you!
  • Hundreds of real-life weapons of war, including bombers, fighters, anti-tank vehicles, anti-air batteries and many more.
  • Plenty of customisation with extensive modules and tech trees.
  • Three main unit types: scouts (infantry), tanks and airplanes.
  • Pitched battles as players take their formations into combat: 10v10 skirmishes with 60 units in play at any time!

“As we developed Iron Conflict, we were inspired by some of our favorite strategy games – including Sudden Strike 4, War Thunder, and World of Tanks,” states Kaven Xu Project Manager.

“In addition to everyone on our team being heavily into games, most of us are also military history fiends. We have an appreciation for WWII-era tanks and planes (as well as modern-day jets like the F-35) – and we now get to make the strategy game of our dreams!” adds Sean Ho, Co-Founder of Angela Game.
