With Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher assembling in London ahead of principal photography on Star Wars: Episode VII, it’s surely only a matter of time before we get a big announcement on the cast for the first instalment of Disney’s Star Wars sequel trilogy.
According to Deadline, Oscar Isaac (Inside Llewyn Davis) is the latest name rumoured for a role in the eagerly-anticipated film, along with the previously rumoured Adam Driver (Girls), John Boyega (Attack the Block) and newcomer Maisie Richardson-Sellers. Furthermore, it’s also being reported that Harrison Ford “has a gigantic role in the first of the next three films.”
So, more rumours, and still no confirmations. Roll on Star Wars Day, so we can finally put all this speculation behind us…
