Owlboy: Limited Edition flutters in this July

If you enjoyed Soedesco’s platform adventure Owlboy then you will want to keep an eye open this summer for Owlboy: Limited Edition which will be released in stores on the 13th July for both the Nintendo Switch and Playstation 4.  This limited edition will include a variety of collector’s items that will satisfy fans both new and old.

Owlboy takes players to the land of the sky and put in the role of Otus, an owl/human hybrid.  As Otus players will need to set out on a quest to save his village from the attacks of a band of vicious pirates.

This limited edition set will include:

  • Owlboy base game.
  • Certificate of authenticity with a unique Limited Edition number.
  • A physical copy of the original soundtrack featuring the majestic Owlboy sounds.
  • Owlboy notebook.
  • Owlboy manual full of useful information about the game.
  • Two pins, one of the Owlboy logo and one of main character Otus.
  • Two metal coins inspired by the collectible ‘Buccanary coins’ in the game.
  • Pin box to store small items such as pins and coins.
  • Sticker sheet with seventeen different Owlboy stickers.

There will be just 6000 pieces of the Limited Edition available worldwide for each platform so make sure to get your copy this July.

Owlboy is a story-driven platform adventure game, where players can fly and explore a brand new world in the clouds. Players will need to overcome obstacles and greater enemies, in one of the most detailed adventures of this era. Being a mute, Otus struggles living up to the expectations of owl-hood. Things spiral from bad to worse with the sudden appearance of sky pirates. What follows is a journey through monster infested ruins, with unexpected encounters, well kept secrets, and burdens no one should have to bear.
