StudioCanal has announced that production on its upcoming sequel to 2014’s Paddington will go into production in the UK this October.
Paul King is returning to direct the film, and while the cast is yet to be announced it is expected that Ben Whishaw will be back to voice the titular bear alongside Hugh Bonneville and Sally Hawkins.
The first movie was a huge hit at the box office, pulling in almost $260 million from a budget of $55 million. The sequel is set to hit UK cinemas on November 24th 2017.
