Pamela Anderson is joining the ranks of Police Squad!, with the news that the former Baywatch actor has signed on to star in the Liam Neeson-headlined The Naked Gun reboot for Paramount Pictures.
According to Deadline, Anderson, the star of similar spoof outings Scary Movie 3 and Superhero Movie, will join the Akiva Schaffer (Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping) directed reboot.
There are no details on who Anderson will be playing, but she will be starring alongside Liam Neeson, who will play Lt. Frank Drebin Jr., the son of Police Squad legend Lt. Frank Drebin, who was embodied by the late, great Leslie Nielsen in the Naked Gun movie franchise and Police Squad! TV series.
Produced by Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane, The Lonely Island‘s Schaffer will direct from a script by his Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers writers Dan Gregor and Doug Mand.
Pamela Anderson last graced the big-screen when she reprised her iconic role of C.J. Parker in Paramount’s big-screen reboot of Baywatch.
