Patch 1.30 for Overwatch is now live and brings with it the 29th hero to join the Overwatch roster. This new hero is Ashe. a gunslinger hailing from the American Southwest and leader of the Deadlock Gang. Alongside Ashe come hero balance updates for several other heroes. Ashe is a versatile damage hero and comes armed with a Viper rifle which she is able to fire rapidly from the hip or line up a high-damage shot through her sights. She is also equipped with the short range, high impact sidearm, the Coach Gun and Dynamite that can be thrown to set enemies on fire and cause high damage. Finally, Ashe can summon her trusted omnic sidekick, Bob, who charges through enemies and fires his arm cannons.
Changes made to other heroes include:
- Mercy – Valkyrie – Ultimate cost reduced by 15% and healing per second increased to 60.
- Reaper – Hellfire Shotguns spread pattern adjusted and randomisation reduced by 50%. The Reaping – Life steal increased to 30% of damage dealt.
- Symmetra – Photon Projector – Primary beam charge speed increased by 20%.
- Roadhog – Chain Hook – Benefits from a decreased delay, a reduction in target’s momentum when hooked and a cooldown that starts immediately. Scrap Gun – spread pattern adjusted and randomisation reduced by 50%. Whole Hog – 25% increase to knockback maximum velocity and horizontal recoil decreased.
