Paul McGann’s Eighth Doctor is set to return this October in a brand-new full-cast audio drama from Big Finish Productions. Doctor Who – Time War Uncharted: Reflections continues on from where 2023’s box set Cass ended with the Time War era Eighth Doctor becoming separated from starship pilot Cass Fermazzi.
In Time War Uncharted: Reflections the Doctor and his great-grandson Alex (played by Sonny McGann) have been reunited while the Great Time War rages on around them. Meanwhile, Cass (played by Emma Campbell-Jones) is still lost in time and space but the splintered timelines are bringing her and the Doctor ever closer to the meeting they both had in the 2013 TV minisode The Night of the Doctor, in which she met the Doctor just before his regeneration.
There will be four new episodes in this upcoming box-set: Nowhere, Never by Katharine Armitage, The Road Untravelled by Tim Foley
Cass-cade by James Moran and Borrow or Rob by Tim Foley. More details on these episodes will be revealed closer to the release date.
Producer David Richardson said: “A new start in the Time War, with our now-established team of the Eighth Doctor, Cass and Alex. I loved the chemistry between this trio in the previous box set, Cass, and so it was inevitable we should get them back together and send them off in new directions. The journey is just beginning and it’s crashing towards some unexpected turns…”
