As film and TV productions get back to rolling cameras now that the strikes are over, Deadline reports the crime comedy Riff Raff has recruited several actors for its heist.
Joining the film are Pete Davidson (Dumb Money), Ed Harris (Westworld), Lewis Pullman (Top Gun: Maverick) and Miles J. Harvey (The Babysitter), who will star alongside the previously announced Jennifer Coolidge (The White Lotus), Brian Cox (Succession), Dustin Hoffman (Rain Man) and Gabrielle Union (Being Mary Jane).
Riff Raff is from A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints‘ helmer Dito Montiel, with a script from John Pollono (Stronger, Small Engine Repair). The film follows “a former criminal’s ordinary life, which is thrown upside down when his old family shows up for a long-awaited reckoning.”
Originally slated to begin production is September, its start was delayed due to the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes. Filming has now begun with production taking place in New Jersey.
