Partners in Kind and SIE Society unveil the groundbreaking partnership committed to $50 Million fund ahead of the inaugural event.
Partners in Kind, the production and media company dedicated to bringing purpose to production, proudly announces an innovative collaboration with SIE Society, a dynamic community of creatives pushing the boundaries of storytelling, entertainment, and impact. This groundbreaking partnership centers on a visionary first look deal, leveraging Partners in Kind’s recently announced $50 million equity fund to support projects initiated by SIE Society’s members that align with the company’s detailed mission. Importantly, each project will be accompanied by a robust social impact campaign, with a strong emphasis on measurable outcomes.
The core differentiator of this partnership is the unwavering focus on social impact campaigns associated with each project. Partners in Kind and SIE Society are dedicated to not only creating captivating narratives but also measuring the real-world impact these stories have on communities, perspectives, and key social issues.
“We are incredibly excited to create a pathway to support SIE Society members and collectively work towards our mission of using storytelling and other forms of creative arts to inspire social action and put more compassion into the world,” say Gillian Hormel and Shelly Tygielski, co-founders of Partners in Kind.
The announcement comes just before the inaugural SIE Society and Johns Hopkins Center for Communication Programs jointly hosted Impact + Profit Conference taking place on December 7 and 8 at the prestigious Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles. The conference is set to bring the entertainment, non-profit, and corporate communities together to educate, connect, and empower Hollywood professionals to harness storytelling for greater social good and measurable impact.
“After attending the Johns Hopkins-led 1,800-person Social and Behavior Change Communication Summit in Morocco last year, it was crystal clear Hollywood would greatly benefit from these types of curated conversations,” says Robert Rippberger and William Nix, SIE Society’s co-executive directors. “SIE Society is taking a leadership role in creating a powerful and informative conference about the important role needed in today’s storytelling, and the ability to reach the masses to positively impact change that will benefit issues important to our society.”
